I joined Lugo (which at the time was called ScotICT) in 2007 to support with the administration and bookwork. As the company has grown my role has constantly changed and developed and it has been thoroughly rewarding to work alongside others to build such a fantastic team.

As a non technical member of the team, I have been amazed at the pace of technological change and I am proud of how we as a company have embraced this, striving to find the best solutions for the companies we support. I’ve always balanced two roles: working part-time at Lugo and serving as a social worker, supporting children and their families. While these jobs are quite different, the core values behind my actions are consistent—serving others, treating people with dignity, valuing human relationships, and acting with integrity and competence.

At Lugo, although we are a technology company, our primary focus is on fostering relationships that allow us to support and assist our clients. My daily activities are never the same, and it’s part of the reason I love what we do. Alongside administration and accounts I also get involved in HR, contracts, recruitment and staff development.
