My experience started at an IT training company based in Stirlingshire, who helped get my foot in the door. They provided me with much needed experience whilst also helping me learn about different IT certifications, which I needed having left school at 16. I worked there for about a year and gained some Microsoft qualifications. I then landed a new job working for a manufacturing factory in Bridge of Allan where I provided 2nd line Support to all users and some remote sites in England. After 4 years at the factory I moved to work for a couple MSPs over the course of 3 years, getting up to 3rd Line before being made redundant due to the COVID pandemic and the company losing a lot of business. I managed to get back into the IT field a year later, as a Service Desk Analyst with NHS Forth Valley for 8 months, before starting here with Lugo as a Technical Support Analyst.

I am very interested in IT Security and Ethical Hacking, as this is how I learned about IT after leaving school.

In my free time I like to do a number of things; powerlifting, playing guitar, studying military history and keeping aquatic animals.

Involved in everything from On-Prem Server migrations & installs, Sharepoint migrations, Hardware refresh, SonicWALL / Draytek Firewall/Router installs and general day-to-day support for clients all across the UK.
